Personalized Learning and Career Enhancement Academy
Welcome to our new partnership between Des Moines Public Schools, Des Moines Area Community College, United Way, and the Iowa Department of Education. This program provides former Des Moines Public Schools adult students the extra time and support needed to earn a High School Equivalency Diploma in a familiar place.
Program Perks:
- PLACE Academy is a free program
- Each student will have access to a personalized learning plan and individualized career coaching and post-secondary opportunities
- All PLACE students will receive a free DART Pass

Former Des Moines Public School students ages 21-25
